My Approach
My name is Danica (she/her), and I support children, teens, adults, and couples who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, relationship stress, big emotions, or life transitions. I believe we can hold both struggle and possibility at the same time — that you can work toward change while still honouring where you are right now. In our work together, we’ll look at the patterns that keep you feeling stuck and explore practical ways to shift them. That might mean navigating anxious thoughts, improving communication, rebuilding trust, or learning tools to help you manage emotions. My approach is collaborative, warm, and direct. There’s no one-size-fits-all path, I will take time to understand your world and work alongside you to find what actually helps. Together, we’ll build insight, skills, and confidence so life feels more manageable and hopeful.

I also work with children (ages 4+) as they learn to express themselves, make sense of big feelings, and build confidence. For some, this includes support around neurodivergence, including autism and ADHD. Using play-based and creative approaches, I help children communicate their inner world, strengthen emotional regulation, and navigate social challenges at home and school.

If you’re looking for someone who will meet you where you’re at, be honest and supportive, and help you move toward change, I’d love to connect.
